who will be teaching the courses?

All of our teachers are fully credentialed, background checked, and have experience working with children of all ages. Visit Our Team page to see teacher bios.

What curriculum do you use?

We don’t follow a set curriculum. Our teachers create their own engaging lessons by pulling from a variety of resources. All lesson plans are created for the appropriate skill level of each student group.

If i enroll in a single day, will my child miss Material?

No, if you are enrolled in a single program day, you will not miss material. The lessons are not a continuation of prior days. Topics will likely be the same within the week, but the lessons are different for each age group and day.

are courses offered year round?

Yes, all of our classes run year round. You are able to register at any point in the year, provided there is an open spot in the desired age group.

How do use technology in the classroom?

Our classes are currently computer free for students. We primarily focus on hands-on activities. We do use projectors and supplemental videos/clips that pertain to the topics being discussed in our classes. At recess, movement videos (yoga, dance, etc) are occasionally used.

Do you teach students how to read?

As an enrichment program, we do not cover phonics in our classes. However, we do have resources available to assist with this. Please see our Camps & Clubs tab for available resources.

Do you grade & are there homework assignments?

No, we do not use any grading system and there is no assigned work outside of our courses. Our teachers are happy to provide feedback on your student’s progress in class and will always communicate any concerns. We also share classroom activities via our parent portal.

will you offer tours?

We offer scheduled tours for our facility. To schedule a tour, please reach out to hello@heartsynchomeschool.com, or fill out our contact from at the bottom of the homepage. Check our Events tab for scheduled open houses.

Are there any specific religious or membership requirements?

Our program is secular in nature, meaning that our courses don’t have any religious components, and they are open for all that desire to join regardless of religious affiliation or background. In order to participate, you just need to be homeschooling in some capacity. Any adults on site will be required to submit a background check.

Do I have to stay on campus?

No, we are primarily a drop-off program. We do have a few on-site parents who have been background checked. Existing on campus parents have a separate waiting area. We are not currently accepting new on campus parents due to capacity and space constraints.

Are background checks required for Teachers & parents?

All teachers are background checked prior to employment. Any parents on campus for an extended amount of time must be background checked prior. All facility tours are supervised.

What are the age requirements?

We currently accept children ages 4-12 years of age Monday-Wednesday and ages 12-17 for our teen programs on Thursdays. All students must be able to use the restroom independently.

When do you accept registrations?

We currently accept registrations at any time, provided there is an open spot in your desired age group. To best facilitate hands on learning, our current max class size is 12 students.

do you have plans to offer any programs for teens?

We are working on some additional offerings for ages 12-17! Follow our social media for updates on these, or fill out our contact form on the home page to be notified when they open.

Is there an option for a tuition payment plan?

Yes, we offer tuition paid in full for a discounted rate, or tuition paid on a month to month basis. Please see cost breakdowns here: Pricing

do you offer discounts for siblings?

Yes, we offer a 15% discount for each sibling enrolled. Please see full tuition breakdown here: Pricing

What subjects do you offer?

We currently offer: STEM, Spanish, Art, Life Skills, Theater & Music, Creative Writing, Social Emotional Learning, Reading Exploration, & Geography. See detailed course descriptions here. Click each age group to see the weekly schedules.

Do i need to provide lunch?

Yes, students are required to bring their own peanut free lunch. Please bring a water bottle to use with our water dispenser.

are students required to be potty trained?

Yes, students must be able to use the restroom independently, unless a parent or guardian will be present on campus.

are naps required for any age group?

No, we do not require naps during our program.

Do you offer support for special needs?
