Meet Diana Abousaleh!

Diana is a multicultural writer, filmmaker, and educator based in Texas, originally from Venezuela. With over 8 years of teaching experience, Diana has worked with students of all ages in diverse settings, from schools and colleges to private tutoring. Her journey in education has been marked by a commitment to creating dynamic learning environments.

Her diverse background has taught her the importance of differentiated learning tailored to individual needs.

Diana will be teaching Spanish and Creative Writing. With Spanish, Diana plans to incorporate cultural insights, music, books, and real-life conversations into her lessons to ensure students not only learn the language, but also connect with the vibrant cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. With Creative Writing, Diana’s film and writing background has shown her that creativity is one of the most under-utilized tools in teaching, therefore, she is looking forward to inspire creativity and embrace unique perspectives in her students.

Diana also holds a certificate in yoga, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning, which she integrates into her teaching to foster a holistic educational environment.
